In 1986, Dow, Midland, MI, introduced its Waste Reduction Al- ways Pays (WRAP) award program. The program now goes beyond reduction, reuse and recycling, to reprocessing waste into raw materials. The new focus of the WRAP awards is aided by two co-sponsors: the Environmental Technology center and the Environmental Operating business of Dow.
